What’s it all about? Basically the weekend is spent working on jobs with an environmental theme, i.e. Tree planting, trimming of overhanging branches, conservation projects, dry stone walling etc. This year we are hoping to have a charcoal making demonstration. All this can be linked to the Programme Zones - Environment, Community Service and Skills.

But it’s not all hard work as there will be music and entertainment on Friday and Saturday night. The programme for the weekend is roughly, arrive Friday evening and pitch tents, Saturday morning and afternoon and Sunday morning we work on various projects.
